This was March 2024 at Soho Folk & Blues at Cuts in Frith St in the heart of the West End. Graham Smallwood is organising these gigs trying to preserve the tradition of the small 60/70s cellar folk clubs like Les Cousins and Bunjies. It was a little offputting when you realise you have to go through a hair salon to go downstairs to the show! Great acoustic room though c/w little bar in the corner. Nice gig.
Below is us a couple of years later after playing a lot of gigs this month (May 26) but really enjoying playing our new material at Cuts acoustically without the use of effects pedals or mikes. Dave is using his new guitar (a Gibson J45 Banner 1942 reissue) which is a fantastic addition to our acoustic sets.
